The Stylist & Co. welcomes new clients!

When booking your first visit at the salon, we require that you attend a complimentary consultation prior to any chemical services.  During the consultation, you will have the opportunity to have a conversation with your

Stylist to understand your hair goals, hair history, and personal budget.

 

If you wish to book an appointment, we require a credit card on file to secure the booking incase of any future cancellations under 24 hours notice, or a no-show appointment. Rest assured, all information provided is confidentially stored.

 

Please understand that any service provider reserves the right to refuse any service if both parties cannot come to an agreement, if the stylist does not feel comfortable providing the services discussed, or if it compromises the fundamentals of hairstyling.

New & Current Clients

Cancellations & Credit Card Requirement

Due to the high demand in appointment requests, The Stylist & Co. has implemented a strict Cancellation Policy. Credit cards are required on your file for all bookings; they are confidentially and securely stored in our database. The only time your card is charged is when we must enforce our policy of a last minute cancellation or no-show appointment.

Your appointments are very important to us; it is reserved especially for you. We understand that sometimes schedule adjustments are necessary due to various reasons. However, we respectfully request at least 24 hours notice should you wish to cancel your appointment to avoid any fees.

Please understand that when you forget or cancel your appointment without giving enough notice, we miss the opportunity to fill that appointment time, and clients on our waiting list miss the opportunity to receive services. Your stylist also loses their pay for the loss of time. This policy allows us to inform our stand-by clients of any availability, keeping our schedules filled, thus better serving everyone.

 We realize it is easy to forget an appointment booked over a month ago.

As a courtesy we do send confirmation texts 48hrs prior to your appointment.

 

  • Less than 24 hours of cancellation will result in a charge equal to 50% of the reserved service amount on future bookings.

  • NO SHOWS on appointments will be required to leave a deposit of 50% on all future bookings and charged 50% of the services missed.

  • After 3 consecutive NO SHOW appointments The Stylist & Co. will no longer be providing future services to you.

If you are dissatisfied with the services provided, despite our efforts to please, management will determine whether the client should receive a corrective service or refund. 

If a client is dissatisfied with their colour, or they feel as though something is wrong, we allow for a maximum of 2 weeks to come back for an appointment for a one-time fix at no cost.  It is our duty to inform you of the best suited colour and cut for you. If you are adamant on change outside of what was originally consulted with you during the original service, this is considered not a "fix" and more of a new colour service. You will be charged for a separate colour service despite dissatisfaction.
